You may have noticed something different about The Daily Fuzz lately. I have added the Sticky Plug-in which allows me to keep a certain post at the top of the page so it will be read more often. I have been using it for the post about iTunes, Amazon, and the Zune Marketplace starting to sell DRM-free music.
The idea behind this is that important posts get to be read more. This is an attempt to get more readers and to keep readers on the site longer. I have added a category to collect the best posts so the readers can go there to read them and then move on to other posts later. Please let me know what you think of the Featured posts.

Well, I see the point of sticky posts, but then you run into the problem of people like me who click on your link, see the same post as yesterday, and click back off…a bad habit, I know, but sometimes I’m in a hurry to read all my blogs! I’ll try to be more observant now that I know you use sticky posts! ;o)
Sorry about the confusion. I am going to put “Featured Post:” at the beginning of each of them from now on. This way, you know to look under the featured post. I am also going to start writing most, if not all of my posts on the weekend. In fact, I’m writing quite a few today before I have to go to school.
I wish I had a way to make the sticky notes stick out more than just putting a tag before them. Good thing is the featured posts have their own category now so people can read them all at once. Then they can move on to the other posts.
I hope this works better for everyone. I have seen WAY too many good posts go past the front page and disappear without a single comment. This way, I can give these posts greater visibility while still giving regular posts.
if I come back two days in a row and see the same post, I might just skip it. Now I know ofcourse, but isnt that a danger of these sticky osts…?
