I work at an internet based start-up company and Google Apps is such an asset to us. If you can find a way to fully exploit the services they provide than it will make sharing sales documents, basic research, presentations and much more so much easier.

Ventrilo - It depends on what you expect or need from your apps. If you use all of the bells and whistles Microsoft Office provides then that is what you want. However, if all you have to do is write a note or do a small spreadsheet, then google apps are a godsend.

Shantanu - I agree. Getting Gmail for your domain is a great option and it is free. Who can beat free?

Financial Health Zone - Google Presentations are still in beta and don’t have all the features someone in business would need. Be careful because you cannot export your Google presentations into PowerPoint.

I use Google Word processor all the time. I didn’t know they had something for presentations though, is that new?

I’ve found Google Apps to be perfect for collaboration- sharing documents is great.

Google apps is amazing! I love the gmail, because it seems a lot more professional to have an address straight to your domain. It’s also all hosted by google, so there’s no need for additional server space.
