Hey everyone, I don’t know how many of you use something like the Google Toolbar or any of the SEO toolbars but if you do you may have noticed that since Google has updated their PageRank the Daily Fuzz has a PageRank 3! To me, this is an awesome achievement because The Daily Fuzz is merely four months old.

For those of you who don’t know what Google PageRank is, I will give a short and sweet summary. Before Google came along, Yahoo was the #1 search engine. However, when Google came about they had a revolutionary way of rating websites.

Google PageRank

PageRank has many effects. It goes into determining your placement in the list of search results, it is a visible and calculable assessment of your website’s relevancy, it is one factor in the worth of your website, and it can even affect how likely someone is to place advertising on your site. Basically, this is a BIG deal.

PageRank is determined by a complex algorithm (computer term meaning very large mathematical equation) that looks at your website’s validity. It finds out how many other websites link to yours and finds out your website’s traffic and rolls it into your PageRank.
